I'm an antinatalist. I don't think anything that is sentient (has the ability to experience) should be brought into existence. Some of the reasons i'm an antinatalist: sentience is a burden, sentient beings suffer and cause suffering, existence is unnecessary.

Struggling Is A Part Of (The Problem With) Life
Struggling is a part of life—and that is one of the problems with life. You can try to argue as much as you want that struggling is good, virtuous, and noble. You can think that "the human spirit" to continue on despite many hardships is impressive; i think that it's a tragedy. I can understand persisting through unpleasant experiences in your own life, but what i can't understand is why you would be willing to breed. By having children or breeding animals, you are exposing them to unnecessary struggling. You may say that without struggling you wouldn't be able to learn from it or have the satisfaction of accomplishment; i say that if you aren't born, you don't care about improving or having a sense of accomplishment.
