The Fact That So Many Have Struggled So Much In Order For Us To Be Alive Is Not A Reason To Procreate—It Is A Reason Not To

The sunk cost fallacy on an evolutionary scale: the notion that it's taken so long to evolve to this point, taken so much effort to learn and do so much, and so many have worked so hard and have suffered so much in order for us to be here today that it would be wrong for us to stop procreating and purposely go extinct.

The reality of the situation we find ourselves in: It would not be wrong for us to stop procreating and purposely go extinct, and it would prevent others  from having to struggle. So many have struggled so much generation after generation—and it has all been unnecessary.

Let us realize that  the mechanism of life has caused an astronomical amount of unpleasant experiences, and stop the reproduction of life so that no one else has to experience unpleasantness.
